Here at Good Companion Bakery, just outside of Vergennes,
Vermont, we bake classic European artisan breads in a
wood-fired brick oven. Our bakery is part of a working,
diversified farm raising 100% grassfed Angus beef, all-natural
pork, poultry, and a variety of crops.

 | | Boundbrook Farm is planning a pilot research project involving small-scale | | | cropping of non-GMO organic sugar beets and small-scale crystal sugar manufacture, in hopes adding all-purpose sugar to the repertoire of New England farms.

We are building on the excellent groundbreaking rice research of farmers Takeshi and Linda Akaogi of Westminster West and implementing a radically different food production system with potential to change the face of sustainable agriculture in the Champlain Valley and elsewhere.
